Code Rules & Troubleshooting
Each Mystery Gift password can be used once per save data file, and expiry depends on the individual distribution. B1G0006 was available for little more than a month, while PREPAR1NG remains scheduled through March 31, 2027. If a future password has no announced expiry, don't assume it is permanent. The Pokémon Company or Nintendo can close a distribution when its campaign ends.
If a code won't redeem, start by checking every character carefully. Pokémon Legends: Z-A passwords never contain the letters I, O, or Z, so PREPAR1NG uses the numeral 1 rather than the letter I. Confirm that your user profile is linked to a Nintendo Account, your system is connected to the internet, and Mystery Gift has been unlocked through Mable's Research. You can also open Check Mystery Gifts to see whether that password was already used on the save data.

New Mystery Gifts are announced through Pokémon.com, the official Pokémon Legends: Z-A news feed, Nintendo promotions, Pokémon Presents broadcasts, and individual campaign announcements.
