GTAV Title Update 1.73 is the current update line, last revised on August 5, 2026. The August 5 revision adds general stability and security fixes on PlayStation 5. Within the same update line, The Kortz Center Heist added a new one-to-four-player Heist on July 16, seven new vehicles, and expanded Mission Creator tools, followed by the Pegassi Ignus Pursuit on July 23.

Release date and status

Grand Theft Auto V launched worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17, 2013. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One followed on November 18, 2014, PC on April 14, 2015, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 15, 2022. GTAV Enhanced launched on PC on March 4, 2025, while GTA Online service for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ended on December 16, 2021.

GTA Online turns Southern San Andreas into a persistent multiplayer world for up to 30 players. Players can complete cooperative Heists, compete in races and Adversary Modes, operate criminal businesses, use social spaces, and progress through systems including the Career Builder and Hao's Special Works.
