Ragnarok: The New World is Gravity Game Vision's free-to-play open-world MMORPG for PC, Android, iOS / iPadOS, and compatible Apple-silicon Macs. Players explore Midgard, switch between character classes, develop custom builds, hunt MVP monsters, join parties and guilds, and trade with other players. The current major content cycle is Prelude to the Peak, with Crusader and Monk second-job branches, competitive modes, and new Shadow Gear progression.
Latest update
Prelude to the Peak began rolling out with the August 6, 2026 maintenance. The August update adds the Crusader and Monk second-job branches, Siege War, War of Kings, and Lv. 75 Shadow Gear with the limited-time Final Mirage challenge. App Store version 2.0.5 followed on August 10 with an optimization to Secondary Password rules.
Release date and status
Ragnarok: The New World officially launched its Southeast Asia service on July 16, 2026. The Steam release followed on July 26, 2026, so release timing differs by regional service and platform rather than using one worldwide launch date.

Ragnarok: The New World is available for PC through Steam and for mobile devices through Google Play and the App Store. Apple's listing supports iPhone and iPad and also marks the app as compatible with Apple-silicon Macs that meet its macOS requirement.
Gameplay and setting
Ragnarok: The New World is built around open-world exploration, character progression, class switching, combat, multiplayer parties, guild activities, PvP, boss hunting, and player trading. Eight classes are available, including the Druid, which can switch between Werewolf, Wereraptor, and Human Arcanist forms. Players can reset stats and skills, change jobs on one character, develop custom equipment and skill builds, defeat MVP monsters that can become mounts, customize clothing, earn resources while offline, sell items through the Auction system, and coordinate class roles in group encounters. The game reimagines Ragnarok's Midgard as a connected 3D world that includes familiar locations such as Prontera.
